Victoria Park Lantern Festival
Home-made northern lights
The Victoria Park Lantern Festival takes place annually on the Saturday that is on the last full weekend in July. It is a participatory event that brings people together to celebrate their community and light up their park with hundreds of home-made lanterns.
Be part of the art
This festival strives to encourage artistic expression, public participation and community-building in the Victoria Park area, and to ensure that the park remains a vibrant part of our urban landscape. Be part of the art! Make a lantern! Come in costume! Enjoy yourself and the community around you.
